William Phillip Agado Sr., a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, was born on April 17, 1962, in Phoenix, Arizona, and peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by the comforts of his cherished surroundings, on November 28, 2024. He was a man of remarkable character, known for his endless dedication to family and friends, and for always being there just when he was needed the most.
Throughout his life, William built a career as a handyman and foreman, where his practical skills and knowledge of cars and construction shone brightly. An educated man in both traditional education and the wisdom of life, William was admired not just for what he could do, but for the warm-hearted spirit he carried with him. He was a true "papa bear," wrapping those he loved in a protective embrace, ensuring that they felt valued and cared for.
William was a man who embodied positivity; he filled each room with laughter and joy, always joking around and never sharing anything negative. His loving and caring nature was infectious, and he had a unique ability to uplift others with just a smile or a kind word. The memories shared by those who knew him attest to his remarkable character. They fondly remember how he always knew the right time to lend a helping hand or share a comforting word.
In his leisure time, William found joy in oldies music, relished his passion for his old school cars, and enjoyed attending lowrider car shows. He had a green thumb and took great pride in his gardening, nurturing plants with the same love and care he showed to his family.
William’s proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his children and grandchildren, who treasure their memories with him. He leaves behind a close-knit family who will forever hold his teachings and love in their hearts: his mother, Esther; his sons, Sergio Andujo, William Agado Jr., Samuel Agado, and his daughters, Sarah Agado and Sonia; and his delightful legacy of 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. His father, Daniel Agado, preceded him in death, but his memory will continue to be honored by all who loved him.
A memorial service in celebration of William's life will be held at Avenidas Funeral Chapel in Avondale, Arizona, on December 20, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM, with the service concluding at 1:00 PM.
