Timothy Wayne McCormick Sr.

Timothy “Tim” Wayne McCormick Sr, age 70, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family in Buckeye, Arizona.

Tim was born on July 18, 1954 in Muncie, Indiana to Glen and Lillian. He was a devoted husband, proud father, and skilled mechanic whose hands were rarely still. He spent over four decades under the hoods of cars, earning a reputation for his mechanical know-how. Tim was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back—or more likely, a wrench from his toolbox.

He is survived by his wife, of 48 years, Betty, their children Kimbra and Timothy Jr, and their grandchildren Gordon III, Austin, Alydia, Leilah, and Dustin. He also leaves behind a brother, George, and countless family, friends, and neighbors who became like family over the years.

Tim left the world a little better than he found it, and for those lucky enough to know him, that makes all the difference.
