Stacie A Myers

Stacie Arlene Myers made her final transition on the morning of Wednesday, July 17th 2024.

Stacie spent her final days in her home surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and the ones closest to her heart.

This time was spent with everyone affectionately whispering ‘I love You’s’ to one another.

Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others whose lives she touched.

While our hearts mourn the loss, we find solace in knowing she is no longer suffering; and now has a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Stacie was born on November 5th, 1968 in Phoenix, Arizona. She began as a carpenter at the age of 20, and finished her life as a Master Carpenter. As a master of this trade she could humbly build or fix anything. She joined the Carpenters Union by the age of 24. She was well respected by her colleagues as a kind, friendly person but more than anything was respected as an expert in the field. Stacie entered a male dominated trade 30 years ago; which was a particularly oppressive time for women in the trade. She overcame the oppression and sexism with tenacity and a love for the art of carpentry.

Stacie was a loving and gentle spirit. She was always available to love and protect the under dog; and she tried to live by the principles of forgiveness and second chances. If someone did not have someone to love them, she was there. She loved strongly and with loyalty. She will be remembered for all of the heart she shared with her friends and family.

Stacie loved the ocean, especially Hawaii. She loved cooking for her friends and family, including making signature dishes that not even her children can master. She loved having everyone at her home, especially during the holidays when the movie National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation was played on repeat. Her home always felt like home; even to those she had just met. She loved music, singing, dancing and being silly with her friends and family. She would sing loudly and proudly to songs without knowing the lyrics with her daughters; making warm memories she will forever be remembered by. And most summers were spent at her home with pool parties every weekend .

Stacie is survived by her children, Jamie Lopez, Mandi Lopez, Samantha Myers, Elyssa Myers, Brycelyn James tobi dunn-Myers, and Chance Allen koi dunn-Myers.

Her grandchildren, Oswin Shroyer, Noa Lucio, Messiah Zaragoza and Camilo Zaragoza.

She is survived by her first partner Marnie Lopez and her wife Cory Dunn.

Stacie is preceded in death by her mom Cheryl Myers, her Grandma Susie and Grandpa Gill, and her Aunt Judy. These beloveds of hers are waiting at the gates of heaven to usher her through.

Stacie, Mom, Nina ,and Grandma, your loss will forever be felt. But we know you are now sailing on a journey to shores we can not see. We know that you are free from pain and floating peacefully with sea turtles in the turquoise waters of your dreams.
