A proud holder of an Associate's degree in early childhood development, Sandra dedicated herself to nurturing the next generation and found immense joy in the simple, yet profound, aspects of life. A spiritual soul, she embraced the world around her with warmth and compassion, cultivating deep connections with those fortunate enough to cross her path.

Sandra had a love for knitting that allowed her to weave pieces of comfort and creativity together, often transforming her yarn into heartfelt gifts for family and friends. She also found joy in watching Novelas on TV, retreating into enchanting stories that mirrored her own vibrant life. Her passion for Mexican food was another testament to her cultural roots, alongside an affinity for the lively rhythms of Musica Nortena that filled her home with joy. Deeply fond of the colors purple and pink, these hues reflected her lively personality and the vibrancy she brought into every gathering.

Sandra was not only a nurturing figure in her immediate family but also celebrated the roles of wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Ricardo Velasquez, and her cherished children: Ricardo Velasquez Jr., Ruben Velasquez, and Christina Velasquez. Her legacy continues in her grandchildren, Azeneth, Itzel, Giovanni, Adrienne, Leli, Haylee, Alynna, and Alaia, whose laughter and memories will carry her spirit forward.

Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved brothers, Carlos and Victor, who she has now joyfully reunited with. The love shared among them throughout their lives remains a testament to the bonds that family can create.
