He seamlessly transitioned through roles as a loan officer, food server, auto mechanic, ticket writer, technical support person, and even a baseball umpire. As a proud alumnus of Cortez High School in Phoenix, Rico cultivated an eagerness for learning that never waned. He was diligently pursuing his bachelor’s degree and took pride in maintaining perfect attendance. Education was not merely a pursuit; it was a reflection of his desire to better himself and set an example for his loving family.
