Nora Mora

Nora E. Mora, born on September 20, 1966, in "Las Ligas," Arizona, peacefully passed away on June 9, 2025, in Glendale, Arizona, after a long illness. Her journey through life was marked by deep love for her family and a vibrant spirit that touched everyone who knew her.

Nora was a devoted mother to her children, Melissa, Jose, Eddie, Robert, and David, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. She found joy and fulfillment in spending time with them, and she cherished every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren: Haven, Annalicia, Elijah, Amaya, Zeddie, Isaac, Aiyana, and Azalea, along with her great-grandchild, Rayannauh. Her home was filled with laughter and love in the beautiful towns of Avondale and Tolleson, Arizona.

Nora had a zest for life characterized by her favorite color, blue, and her enduring love for oldies music, which often filled her home with warmth and nostalgia. She found her happiest moments nestled among those she cherished the most—her family, y no mas. They were her everything, and there was no place she loved more than being surrounded by her loved ones.

Nora's legacy is further enriched by her parents, Gilbert and Benita Mora, her brother Monte, and her sisters Thelma and Norma, who will miss her dearly. While she is survived by her loving family, she is now reunited with her mother, Benita Mora, and her long-time companion, Liborio Gonzalez Hernandez, both of whom she loved deeply.

Her life will be celebrated with a viewing at Avenidas Funeral Chapel in Avondale, AZ, on June 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a burial at Holy Cross Cemetery later that day at 1:30 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at her residence in Glendale, AZ, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, where all who knew Nora are invited to join in remembering the remarkable woman she was.

As we reflect on Nora's life, we embrace the beautiful memories she has left behind, wrapping ourselves in the love she shared so generously with those around her. Her spirit will forever inspire us to cherish our loved ones and celebrate life with joy and gratitude.
