Marri Connor, born on June 5, 1956, passed away suddenly and peacefully on morning of December 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Marri’s life was a testament to unconditional love, unwavering strength, and endless generosity.
Marri was the beloved wife of 48 years to her soulmate Scott and best friend. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She was a proud and devoted mother to her son, Jay , who was the light of her life, and a caring and doting grandmother to Alyssa and Garret Connor, who brought her endless joy.
Marri’s greatest passions were her family and her community. She was a cornerstone of a large and loving family, always ready with a kind word, a warm smile, and an open heart. Her home was filled with the beauty of flowers she adored, the warmth of her cooking that brought everyone together, and the loyal companionship of her beloved dogs.
An incredibly talented hairdresser, Marri had a gift for making everyone feel beautiful inside and out. Her clients and friends often remarked on her genuine ability to connect with people, listen with care, and provide comfort in her own unique way. She was a provider in every sense of the word, giving her time, energy, and heart to those she loved.
Marri’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her family will forever treasure her selflessness, her humor, and the countless memories they created together.
A celebration of Marri's remarkable life will be held on "Garcia's Las Avenidas" Mexican restaurant, 2212 N 35th Ave, Phoenix, Arizona on Jan 13 at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to humane Society in honor of her love for animals and community.
Marri Connor will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her spirit and love will continue to guide and inspire all who knew her.
