It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of our cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother who adorned life with love, faith, and compassion. Margarita Trinidad was received by the Lord on Saturday December 30, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving a void impossible to fill yet a lasting legacy impossible to forget.

Margarita was born on June 10, 1931, in her beloved state of Texas on Willie Williams Farm to Ygnacio and Graciana Pina. At the young age of 15 she relocated to Tolleson, Arizona and on April 19, 1955, she was united in marriage to Jose Trinidad, where they shared 68 years of life together.

Margarita was welcomed into heaven by her husband Joe, parents and siblings Guadalupe, Hortencia, Benny, Frank, and Lalo. Margarita is survived by her five children: Carmen (Raul) Melendez, Daniel (Frances) Trinidad, Mary (Andy) Rojas, Josephine Stender, Martin Trinidad, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 2 sisters, and 1 brother.

Margaritas’ love for her Catholic faith was not only an integral part of her life but a guiding light she generously shared with each member of her family. She was a faithful Parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church, where she was a proud and devoted member of the Guadalupanas, La Hermandad del Santisimo Sacramento, and La Llama de Amor church groups. She spent measureless hours serving her church and community.

She will always be remembered for her devotion to her family and the traditions instilled in them. Her home, a sanctuary of warmth and comfort. The gatherings that brought laughter, love and the memories of Saturday morning breakfasts, Sunday barbeques and Monday evening dinners. Her humor and knack for storytelling turned every occasion into a cherished memory for generations to come. Beyond her wit and humor Margarita was a beacon of unwavering strength and unconditional love. Her grandchildren now hold dear in their hearts the memory of every visit ending with a blessing of the sign of the cross.

Margarita’s spirit lives on in the lessons, memories and love she showered upon her family. Rest peacefully te amamos “Margarita Doble” Querida Madre y Nana. En el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo y del Espiritu Santo, Amen.
