It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Ann Ballez age 70, born on June 12th, 1954, announces her passing. Linda will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
Linda was born and raised in Adrian, Michigan until she moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1984, and worked for the State of Arizona (ADOT) for 17 years, and retired in 2016.
Linda was a beloved mother, mother-in-law, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend who passed away on November 11th, 2024.
Survived by:
Her daughters, Tina (Sal) Gonzales, Angie Morales, Monica (Jorge) Gonzalez, and Theresa Morales.
Grandkids: Eric Gonzales, Alexis Gonzales, Jake Gonzales, Haley Morales, and Aaron Hernandez.
Six great grandchildren that she loves tremendously: Ian Gonzales, Zoey Gonzales, Izen Lopez, Dimitri Gonzales, Enzo Lopez and Atlas Gonzales.
Brother: David (Tina) Jimenez,
Sisters: Carmen Perez, Herminia Price.
Along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by: Abel Ballez, Nicholas Gonzalez, Bob Morales, Oscar Correa, Maria (Cha-Cha) Equia, and John Jimenez.
Linda was a very kind and generous woman who loved to laugh. She was the kind of person who loved unconditionally no matter who you were and always found a little bit of goodness in everyone. She enjoyed traveling, celebrating birthdays, Halloween, Christmas, and making memories with her family. In September 2024, Linda had the opportunity to travel back home to Adrian, Michigan for her 50th class reunion and talked for days about how much fun she had reuniting with old friends.
Linda also enjoyed playing competitive bingo and Loteria with her grandkids. She also enjoyed joking around and putting big smiles on all of her grandkids faces. Linda enjoyed listening to Tejano music, dancing, shopping, vacationing with her family, and of course making new friends. But most of all, she loved dancing to Mexican music.
Linda will be truly missed.
