Kenneth enjoyed a fulfilling career as a professional San Francisco school, charter, and tour bus driver, where he shared his jovial spirit with countless passengers. He pursued his passion for helping others by becoming an ordained minister, a proud accomplishment that he cherished deeply. Kenneth's education began at Balboa High School and continued at Job Corps, setting the stage for a successful life dedicated to service and community.

Known for his ability to put people at ease, Kenneth had a magnetic personality that drew people in. He was often described as someone who never met a stranger, tirelessly devoted to making people smile and assisting them in finding solutions to their challenges. His involvement in the church choir and as a voluntary chaplain showcased his desire to uplift those around him through faith and music.

Kenneth’s interests were as varied as they were beloved. He found joy in bowling, ping pong, and was an avid sports fan. A true connoisseur, he held a special fondness for oxtail food, which became one of his many treasured experiences.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Joyce Holmes, brother Leland Mackey Jr., and sister Lelana J. Mackey-Fix. Kenneth is preceded in death by his mother, Jeannette F. Mackey, and step-father, Leland A. Mackey Sr.
