Kendrick Henry Harris, a devoted father, brother, son, and friend, passed away on March 8, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona. Born on March 17, 1972, in New Jersey, Kendrick embodied the spirit of resilience and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on the lives he touched.

Growing up, Kendrick fostered a love for both construction and landscaping, two passions that guided his career through various states, including New Jersey, Georgia, Virginia, Texas, and Arizona. His insatiable spirit for building and nurturing was not just limited to work; it reflected his profound love for the earth and the beauty it holds. A graduate of Monmouth Regional High School, Kendrick furthered his education with the International Union of Operating Engineers and earned his CDL license, partaking in a journey that showcased his commitment to his craft.

Kendrick served honorably in the U.S. Navy from August 1993 to August 1995, and his patriotic service remains a testament to his character and unwavering sense of duty. A Christ-centered man at heart, Kendrick's life was a testament to his values, and his faith illuminated his path, instilling hope in others along the way.

Beyond his professional undertakings, Kendrick was known for his joyful spirit, especially when it came to sharing good food and moments with loved ones. He relished the art of barbequing, cherished family gatherings over lamb stew and grilled salmon, and found solace in the soothing rhythms of his favorite artist, Prince.

Kendrick is survived by his three beloved sons, Andrew Henry Harris, Jordan David Harris, and Ethan Warren Harris, who will carry on his legacy and values. His siblings—brother James Broadnax, and sisters Cherie Harris and Christielove Harris—stand united in grief and cherished memories, each carrying a piece of his enduring spirit.

He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Harris, who departed in December 2015, and his mother, Gladys A. Harris, who left this world in October 2015. Their absence is felt deeply, yet Kendrick's essence remains intertwined with their memories.

In celebration of his life, a memorial service will be held on May 17, 2025, at Mt Olive Primitive Baptist Church in Thomasville, Georgia. Friends and family are invited to gather and honor the life of a remarkable man whose impact resonates through the hearts of all who knew him. Kendrick Henry Harris lived fully, loved fiercely, and will be missed more than words can express.
