"Joe"

Jose “Joe” Ernesto Garcia of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the age of 69.

Born on September 18, 1955, to Ramon and Irene Garcia. Joe was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1973. He then enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1974 to serve his country proudly. When he was honorably discharged, he got married to Lupe Mendoza and had two beautiful children, Ernie Garcia and Sophia Garcia whom he loves so much and cherish. After so many years being divorced. Joe married again to Rosa Garcia and they were married for many years until she had passed away a fews years ago. Joe worked hard for many company’s until he got sick and was not able to work again. Joe was taken by his sister Rose Aguilar who became his caretaker. Joe loved to watch boxing matches and football games. As he is known as a big Raiders fan. Joe was always happy no matter what situation he was in as he always had brought light into the world. Joe was always known as a person to make every one laugh with his wise jokes and great sense of humor.

Joe leaves behind his children, Ernie Garcia and Sophia Garcia and his grandchildren, Joseph Garcia, Jewelieana Beltran, Lilieana Beltran, Sagid Beltran and his first great-granddaughter Elena Garcia. He also survived by his loving brothers and sisters: Isabel Servin, Juan (Yvonne) Aguilar; Ramon (Carol) Garcia; Alberto (Terry) Aguilar; Iesha Garcia; Roberto (George) Bejarano; Irene (Tony) Valencia; Leopoldo Aguilar Jr.; Antonio Aguilar; Jesus Aguilar; David (Anjanette) Aguilar; Isabel Aguilar; and Raquel Aguilar. As well as many nieces and nephews.

Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Joe believed in the Lord and we take comfort in knowing he is now in paradise.

A service is scheduled for 9:00 am on March 7, 2025 at White Tank Mountain Southern Baptist Church located at 1420 N. 192nd Avenue in Buckeye, Arizona.
