Joanne Murray

Joanne Murray, a beloved customer service representative, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025, at her home in Goodyear, Arizona. Born on October 5, 1967, in Burley, Idaho, Joanne was the embodiment of love, generosity, and caring, qualities that delighted all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

For 17 wonderful years, Joanne dedicated herself to her role at "The Dollar Tree," where her kind-hearted nature and unwavering commitment to helping others left an indelible mark on both her colleagues and customers. She brought warmth to every interaction, making even the simplest shopping experience a memorable one.

A proud graduate of Agua Fria High School, Joanne cherished education and the lessons learned from both books and life. Her faith played a significant role in her life, as she was a devoted Catholic who found strength and solace in her beliefs.

Joanne had a special fondness for red chile burritos—an indulgence that not only satisfied her taste buds but also served as a reminder of the comfort and warmth of home-cooked meals. She also had a passion for music, often found enjoying her favorite tunes by “Selina,” which filled her heart with joy and brought back treasured memories.

Joanne will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Johnny Murray, who shared many beautiful years by her side. Her legacy will continue to shine through her caring daughter, Christine, and her granddaughter, Natilie, who brought immense happiness into her life. She shared cherished moments and laughter with her siblings—Rudy, Jim, Paul, Patricia, Bobby, and Gilbert—who held a special place in her heart, as did her dear parents, Dolores and Pablo Chapa.

In honoring her memory, family and friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering on March 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located at 522 E Western Ave, Avondale, AZ 85323.

As we remember Joanne, we celebrate a life filled with kindness, laughter, and boundless love. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched and the memories that bind them together. Rest in peace, dear Joanne. Your light will guide us always.
