Born in Wichita, Kansas, on February 24, 2000, Jerome embodied the youthful zest for life that many aspired to mirror. He graduated from Maya High School in 2018, marking his journey with not only academic achievement but also notable athletic accomplishments—securing the titles of Most Improved Player in his freshman year and Most Valuable Player (MVP) during his sophomore year.

Jerome's career as a construction worker showcased his tenacity and practical talents, as he enjoyed tinkering with all things mechanical. He relished the opportunity to don his handyman hat, transforming simple tasks into creative solutions. His hands were as capable as his mind, and he approached each project with a focus that mirrored his approach to life.

A reflective soul, Jerome was always in touch with his emotions, preferring deep conversations over small talk. His philosophical debates with friends and family were legendary; he had a knack for exploring life’s complexities that made every interaction meaningful. He thrived in the company of his loved ones, including his cherished child, Sun-Ja' Launi, and his devoted siblings: Justice Lee Tandy, Journey Asher Tandy, Diandre Moore Young Jr., plus four sisters and an additional brother. Supported by a loving family, including his Father, Jerome Lavone Tandy Sr., Mother Alexandria Butler, Stepmother Ash' Le Callan, Grandparents Lajune Fritts and Albert Fritts of Leander, Texas, grandparents Tom and Vickie Tandy and his 3 Aunties. The bonds he forged were undoubtedly strong and enduring.
