Jan Marie Ford

Jan Marie Ford, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, left this world on June 16, 2025, in Surprise, Arizona, at the age of 60. Born on October 12, 1964, in Fort Collins, Colorado, Jan lived a vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering spirit.

Jan’s career was marked by dedication and professionalism, spending 15 impactful years at Jennings & Straus Law Firm, where she worked alongside her long-time boss, friend, and colleague, Jennifer. She briefly served at Snell & Wilmer Law Firm from 2002 to 2004, and again from 2023 to 2025, proving to be a valuable asset in the legal community.

A woman of profound faith, Jan was spiritual and devoted, believing deeply in the power of prayer. She was remarkable not only for her professional accomplishments but also for her warm and giving nature. Her personality shone brightly, evident to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was described as an all-around amazing human whose presence brought joy and comfort.

Jan found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She was passionate about boating, camping, paddle boarding, and motorcycle riding, all of which she enjoyed with her family. Crafting was another outlet for her creativity, and she took pride in creating thoughtful gifts and memories to cherish. One of her fondest joys was traveling to Colorado to spend time with her family. Jan loved the vibrant hue of purple, delighted in country music, and savored the flavors of Mexican cuisine, all of which will forever remind her loved ones of her spirit.

Jan was especially proud of her marriage to Troy Gene Ford, whom she wed in November of 2008. Together, they built a life filled with love and adventures, creating countless cherished memories. She is survived by her devoted husband, Troy; daughters Nichole and Michelle; step-sons Jess, Bryan, and Michael; step-daughter Hannah; sister Gail; nieces Jesse and Meagan; and mother-in-law Sarah Ford. Each family member carries a piece of her incredible heart and spirit with them.

She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Irene Baldridge; her beloved grandparents; and her eldest daughter, Ashley. Their memories will continue to inspire and guide her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on July 12, 2025, at Connolly's Sports Grill in Phoenix, Arizona, from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM, where family and friends will gather to share stories, celebrate her life, and remember the incredible impact Jan made on all who knew her.

Though Jan Marie Ford has departed from this earthly realm, her spirit will remain a guiding light to all who had the privilege of knowing this extraordinary woman. Her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will never be forgotten.
