Jaime ‘Jamie’ Comaduran

Jaime ‘Jamie' Comaduran passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 65, in Buckeye, AZ. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on June 24, 1959, the youngest of two children born to Joaquin Ballesteros Comaduran and Guadalupe ‘Lupe’ Martinez Comaduran.

After graduating from Sylmar High School, Class of 1977, in Sylmar, CA, Jaime studied drafting for two additional years. He worked as a drafting technician for many years in CA and AZ. He had many interests even when he was employed. When he lived in Prescott, AZ, he plowed driveways during the winter. He was happiest when he was working out in nature.

Jaime was a faithful man that had a strong belief in his Catholic faith. Family was an important part of his life. He loved all his family, but he had a very special bond with his Tata Joaquin Sr. and cherished the time he spent with him over the years. Jaime was passionate about the great outdoors, nature and the Native American culture. He had an adventurous side to him. His favorite past times were fishing, hiking, riding his Jeep in the desert and spending time with family and friends. When he met new people, it seemed like he’d known them for a long time since it was natural for him to have long conversations with them on many different topics. He was an avid reader and truly had a gift of gab.

He is survived by his father, Joaquin B. Comaduran of Maricopa, AZ, his sister, Alicia Comaduran of Sun City, AZ, his niece, Myra Acosta, of Santa Paula, CA, his nephew, Arsenio Perez, of Sun City, AZ, great nieces Nevaeh Acosta and Lily Guadalupe Perez, and many relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be celebrated on September 12, 2024, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Goodyear, AZ, beginning at 9:30 AM with a Rosary and Mass at 10:00 AM. On September 13, 2024, his inurnment will be held at All Souls Catholic Cemetery, Cottonwood, AZ.
