Jacques Reynold Laroche

Jacques Reynold Laroche, a beloved artist, teacher, and interior designer, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025, in Sun City, Arizona. Born on September 10, 1949, in Aquiti, Haiti, Jacques's journey through life was filled with creativity, passion, and a dedication to nurturing beauty both in his work and in the lives of those around him.

As the owner of Unique Home Design and UCOMB of South Dade, Jacques not only transformed spaces but also touched the hearts of many through his artistic vision. His talent was matched only by his commitment to teaching, where he shared his knowledge and enthusiasm for design with students, inspiring the next generation of artists and creators.

Jacques had a profound love for his Haitian roots, often finding solace and joy in the vibrant sounds of the group "Tabou Comb" and other Haitian music, which filled his home with warmth and rhythm. He also cherished the richness of Haitian cuisine, often gathering with family and friends to enjoy the delectable flavors that reminded him of his heritage.

Residing in both Miami and Lake Placid, Florida, Jacques created a welcoming haven where laughter, love, and creativity flourished. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Yvette Laroche, whose unwavering support was a cornerstone of his life. Jacques is survived by his cherished children, Tatiana and Jacques, and his beloved grandchild, Zaria, who were the lights of his life. Additionally, he is survived by his brother Fred, along with his nieces and nephews, Stantley, Richard, and Isabelle, each of whom carries a piece of his spirited legacy.

Jacques was predeceased by his loving mother, Camila Laroche, who instilled in him the values of kindness and creativity.

While Jacques may no longer walk among us, his spirit will live on forever in the vibrant art he created, the lessons he imparted, and the memories cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His laughter, warmth, and creative brilliance will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends.
