From an early age, Gerardo attended Central High School in Phoenix, Arizona, where he forged friendships and left an impression on all who encountered his social, respectful, and friendly demeanor. Whenever the opportunity presented itself for Gerardo to slip into the kitchen, he was an excellent cook who relished the chance to prepare meals for his family, striving to be a "master chef" in the eyes of his children. There was nothing he cherished more than witnessing the expressions on his kids' faces as he observed them delight in the fun and delicious treats he crafted. This will forever remain a cherished memory for those who were aware of the "kitchen magic" he shared with the children.

Gerardo lived a life colored in shades of blue, his favorite hue, embodying calmness and tranquility that resonated with those fortunate enough to cross paths with him. He was deeply devoted to his family, proudly celebrating the accomplishments of his children—Alycia, Eliana, Adrian, Isabella, Olivia, and Salvador—each a testament to his unwavering love and dedication as a father. His heart swelled with joy for his soon to be arriving granddaughter that is to be named Anita, who already brightened his days with anticipation of her arrival.

An avid fan of live sporting events, Gerardo found immense happiness in cheering on his favorite teams, a reflection of his spirited nature and deep connection to the thrill of community. Each game was a celebration, a gathering where laughter echoed and bonds were strengthened, influenced by his friendly and approachable spirit that invited camaraderie from all around him.

Gerardo is survived by his beloved father Gerardo Segura Sr., his devoted mother Yolanda Segura, his adoring brother Steve, and his cherished sisters Zulma and Lexi. He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Jesuscitta, Hailey, Natalia, Steven, Bella, Vida, and Julian, each carrying a piece of his legacy forward into the future.

The visitation to honor Gerardo’s remarkable life will be held on July 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located in Avondale, Arizona.
