Gary Ray Aukes

Gary Ray Aukes, a retired member of the United States Air Force passed away on November 18, 2024 at his residence. Born on September 20, 1946, Gary dedicated two decades of his life to serving his country with honor and distinction.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Orva Marie Lowe Aukes. Together, they shared many years filled with love, partnership, and mutual support.

A visitation will be held in his memory at Avenidas Funeral Chapel located at 522 E Western Ave, Avondale, AZ 85323 on December 4, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Following the visitation, a burial service will take place at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, located at 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024, commencing at 2:00 PM and concluding around 2:30 PM. An additional commemorative event will also take place at the cemetery starting at 2:00 PM.

Gary Ray Aukes will be remembered for his service, commitment, and the impact he made on the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of dedication to both his family and his country will endure in the hearts of many.
