Fred Pena Viloria

Fred P. Viloria, OCDS 89, born September 27, 1936 in Phoenix, Arizona. A beloved father and grandfather who was called home on November 24, 2025. 

Fred was a very faithful servant of the Lord, a Discalced Carmelite Secular, following the teachings of Saint Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross. Fred loved his Filipino heritage and enjoyed cooking Filipino meals for his family. 

Fred was a long time employee at the Maricopa County Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona  for over 30 years.

Fred was a very loving and devoted father who was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Arlene and his eldest son Anthony (Dolores). Frd is survived by his daughter, Donna Diaz (Lorenzo), Richard (Adriana),and Danny (Patricia),20 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren, and many extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on December 4, 2025, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 512 N. 93rd Avenue Tolleson, Arizona.

A visitation will begin at the church at 8 AM with the Funeral mass following at 10 AM. Burial services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery Avondale.

Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Avondale Arizona following the church service. Graveside service begins at 11:30 AM.
