Florence Sue Vance (Fulton), born in Glendale, California on October 31, 1944 to Archie L. Fulton Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Fulton (Schultz).

Flo was the middle child with two siblings, Larry Fulton and Donna Martin. She married Jerome Vance in Anchorage, Alaska on January 15th, 1974.

Flo is survived by her 3 children - Jerome (Jerry) Vance Jr., Elizabeth (Lysa) Vance and Leonard (Austin) Vance. Her grandchildren Connor Vance, Martina Lowe (Tassie), Sydnee Vance, and Mary Vance. Her great-grandchildren Cartier Tarkington and Baby girl Lowe expected in September.

Flo lived a full and rewarding life. Besides being a loving mother and fun grandma, she touched many lives with her career and volunteering endeavors. She started as a hairstylist and owned a beauty salon in Spenard, Anchorage for several years. After raising her family, she dedicated 17 years to the Anchorage School District teaching intensive needs students. Flo joined the ESA-Alpha Iota chapter sisterhood around 1985 and served with them for over 25 years raising money for Saint Jude's Children’s Hospital. Also, ACVB serving Alaskan tourism for 10 years.

Flo spent the last few years of her life in Buckeye, Arizona where she spread her fun loving spirt with even more people. She passed peacefully at home with her kids by her side August 21, 2025. Florence, Flo, Flodi, Flossy, mom, grandma, GG, hey, sister or friend. Whatever you knew her as, you know how special of a human she was. She will be remembered in the best ways. We love you.
