Emilio Steve Carrizosa, beloved husband and cherished member of a large, loving family, passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2024, at age 27. Emilio was born on January 8, 1997, in Phoenix, Arizona. Raised by his Aunt and Uncle, Ruben and Rebecca Deleon, Emilio's early years were marked by family bonds that would define his life. Emilio had a strong work ethic from a young age. He was passionate about music and had a propensity for the written word. Emilio married in 2023 and found solace and strength in love. As we mourn Emilio's passing, we take comfort in the countless memories he leaves behind. Emilio is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy De Leon, his uncle, Ruben De Leon, and his niece, Destiny De Leon. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his spirit will continue to guide us through the darkness, illuminating the path with love and memories that will never fade. Let us remember Emilio for the extraordinary person he was. May his soul find peace in the eternal embrace of the heavens, and may his memory continue to inspire us all to live each day with passion, kindness, and love. Funeral arrangements have been made with Avenidas Funeral Chapel at 522 East Western Avenue, Avondale, AZ. The viewing will be held on May 20, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Cremation will occur after viewing. Details will follow on a celebration of life dinner following the viewing. Rest in peace, dear Emilio.
