It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dominga Davila Lopez, who left us on April 13, 2025, in her beloved Glendale, Arizona, where she was born on July 18, 1943. Known lovingly by her children, Frances, Michele, Raul Davila, and Edward, as a devoted homemaker, she filled their lives with love, care, and unwavering faith.

Dominga's life was characterized by her deep-rooted Christian beliefs, which nurtured her spirit and guided her through life’s joys and challenges. She was a woman of immense faith, often turning to prayer to navigate the obstacles she encountered. This faith not only shaped her own life but inspired those around her. Dominga passionately attended Sunday church services, always eager to connect with her community and share her devotion.

Her vibrant personality shone through in many ways; she was a lover of family gatherings where her favorite maroon attire would bring warmth to her presence. Within the comforts of her home, she delighted in decorating and filling her surroundings with beautiful flowers. She cherished dancing and singing, often to the tunes of her favorite artist, Selina, and enjoyed sharing tacos with family and friends, which became a staple at her joyous celebrations.

Dominga's proudest accomplishments included raising her children with boundless love and instilling them with her values. She leaves behind a legacy of strength and compassion, embodied in her grandchildren: Frank Ortega, Johnny Mark, Cecilia, Steven, April, Estrella, Edward, Eddie, Felicia, and Daniela. Each one carries a piece of her heart and spirit.

She now joins her beloved parents, Matheo and Francisca Davila, and her cherished family members in eternal peace: Michele, Edward, Raul, Frank, Mark, Johnny, Chris, and Raul Jr. While her physical presence will be sorely missed, her memory will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dominga's life during a visitation at Avenidas Funeral Chapel located at 522 E Western Ave, Avondale, AZ 85323, on May 16, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a funeral service from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. For those wishing to pay their final respects, a graveside service will take place at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85301, beginning at 2:00 PM.

As we gather to remember Dominga, we honor her faith, her love for her family, and her vivacious spirit, which continues to inspire us all.
