Charles Houston, a vibrant and positive soul, was born on July 12, 1977, in Los Angeles, California. On November10, 2024, he departed from this world, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
Throughout his life, Charles dedicated himself to a career in construction, where he excelled as a technician. However, his true passion lay in his ability to connect with others. He had an innate gift for understanding and relating to people's emotions, which fostered deep and meaningful relationships throughout his life.
Charles was a husband to the late Sade Young Houston, whom he cherished and loved profoundly. Their loving union was one of his proudest accomplishments, and the bond they shared was a testament to the joy and fulfillment love can bring.
He found joy in the simplicity of life, relishing moments spent scratching lottery tickets, listening to old school rhythm and blues, and passionately fishing at his favorite spots. A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Charles lived for the thrill of watching his team play, often cheering them on while proudly proclaiming his allegiance to "BIG BLUE."
In addition to his many hobbies, his greatest treasures were the moments spent with his loving family. He shared a close bond with his father, Arthur Houston Sr., his mother, Emma Hawkins, and his siblings—Arthur Jr., Frederick, and Marnette. His cousin, Djuanisha Hawkins, along with many other loving family and friends, will forever hold dear the memories of the laughter and warmth Charles brought into their lives.
A visitation will be held on December 7, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 3:00 PM, both taking place at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located at 522 E Western Ave, Avondale, AZ 85323.
Charles Houston will be remembered not only for his work ethic and passions but also for the love that radiated from him. His memory will continue to inspire those left behind, reminding them of the impact one person can have in relating to the joys and sorrows of life.
