Carol Beauthine Cameron

Carol Beauthine Cameron, a cherished soul among her family and community, passed away on September 16, 2025, in Peoria, Arizona, after a long illness and a brave battle with cancer. Born on December 5, 1943, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, Carol's journey through life was marked by her unwavering kindness and dedication both to her loved ones and the wider world around her.

A devoted wife to George T. Cameron for an enduring 61 years, Carol was a loving sister to Sallie and a proud mother to her three sons, Darrin, Brett (Suzie), and Lance (Teena), who all carry forward her legacy of compassion and integrity. The warmth she fostered can be seen thriving in her grandchildren—Taylor, Kendall, Kadie, Matthew, Miles, Brandon, and Damien—whose smiles and laughter reflect the unconditional love she imparted upon them.

Carol's career as a Medical Transcript Secretary at Arizona State University was just one avenue through which she expressed her dedication to helping others. A graduate of Lamson Business College in Tempe, Arizona, she utilized her talent in service to ensure that medical professionals could focus on what they did best, knowing they had her support behind the scenes. Alongside her career, she made significant contributions as a lifetime member and officer of Sigma Beta Xi, where her leadership and guidance inspired others to engage in meaningful community service.

In addition to her commitments at work and through service organizations, Carol was profoundly giving of her time, embodying the essence of a true hospice volunteer. Her compassion for those in their most vulnerable moments defined her character and left an indelible impact on many lives.

Carol found joy in exploring the beauty of nature, revealing her adventurous spirit through her love for hiking and traveling. Her favorite places, from the serene shores of Lake Tahoe to the majestic mountains of Colorado and the vibrant coastlines of San Diego and Canada, were a testament to her appreciation for life's simple pleasures. Carol’s skillful play in table tennis not only provided recreation but also brought friends and family together, creating lasting memories forged through shared experiences.

Carol is survived by her dear husband, George, her sister Sallie, her children Darrin, Brett and Suzie, Lance and Teena, her grandchildren Taylor, Kendall, Kadie, Matthew, Miles, Brandon, and Damien, and her beloved Aunt Wilma McDonald. She now reunites with her beloved parents, Verdun and Irene Parker, who lovingly guided her in her early years.

As we mourn the loss of Carol Beauthine Cameron, we celebrate the remarkable life she led—a life filled with love, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to those lucky enough to know her. Her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all whose lives she touched, a radiant example of the grace and strength that can emerge even in the face of adversity.
