Angela Katrina Morris

Angela Katrina Morris, born on March 8, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan, departed this life peacefully on October 30, 2025, in Avondale, Arizona, surrounded by the warmth and love of her cherished family, including her beloved husband, Darrell W. Morris.

A steadfast light in her community, Angela dedicated her life to the service of others as a Pastor, embodying a spirit that was both giving and caring. Her unwavering passion for her faith fuelled a lifetime of spreading the Gospel, touching countless lives with her compassion and wisdom. Angela pursued higher education at Glendale Community College, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree, a testament to her belief in lifelong learning and personal growth.

In her personal life, Angela was not only a devoted partner and mother but also a proud grandmother. She is survived by her children: Monte, Joy, Sasha, and Jermain Morris, and her adoring grandchildren: Anaya, Monica, Miyah, Beautiful, and Kaylan. Each family member carries forward her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion.

Angela also shared deep bonds with her sister Alicia Tucker and her brothers Audre Cain, Flint James, Steven, and Stacey, who will forever hold her memory dear. Though her parents, Norma Cain, James Johnson, and Joseph Allen Flint, have passed, their influence undoubtedly flowed through her nurturing soul.

Angela's love for writing and painting allowed her to express her creative spirit, while her appreciation for oldies music, especially Motown, provided a joyous soundtrack to her life. Her favorite color, green, mirrored her vibrant personality and the life she nurtured around her.

As we commemorate Angela Katrina Morris, we honor a woman whose legacy will resonate in the hearts of those she touched. She will be remembered not only for her faith and service but also for her boundless love, charms of creativity, and the family bonds she held so sacred. She leaves us with the profound reminder that life, while brief, can be rich with purpose and connection.

A viewing to celebrate her life will be held on November 8, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located at 522 E Western Ave, Avondale, AZ 85323. It is here, amidst friends and family, that we may find solace in the memories shared and the love that will forever bind us to Angela.
