It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alexis Monique Serna, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, who left this world far too soon on August 12, 2025, in Avondale, Arizona. Born on July 25, 2008, in Phoenix, Alexis was only 17 at the time of her departure, yet she filled each moment with vibrancy and joy.

Alexis was known for her goofy spirit and an infectious zest for life that brightened the lives of everyone around her. She had a unique ability to spread happiness, leaving a sparkle in every room she entered. Her artistic talent shined brilliantly, as she poured her creativity into everything she touched; her imaginative projects were a testament to her passion and flair for beauty.

Accomplished beyond her years, Alexis graduated from Arizona Preparatory School at the age of 16, showcasing her determination and intelligence. She had big dreams that she shared openly, and with every laugh and optimistic word, she inspired those who knew her to embrace their own passions wholeheartedly.

Alexis adored the color pink, a fitting reflection of her lively personality and gentle spirit. Her laughter and kindness will forever echo in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to experience her warmth.

She leaves behind her devoted father, Alex Serna, her loving mother, Sandra Bretado, and her adoring brother, Christopher Serna. The bond they shared is a profound treasure that will never fade but will continue to live on through their memories of her.

Though her time on this earth was far too brief, Alexis Monique Serna's legacy of love, laughter, and creativity will remain forever etched in the lives of those she touched. She will be honored and remembered through the following services: a viewing on August 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Avenidas Funeral Chapel in Avondale, followed by a prayer service on August 25, 2025, beginning at 10:30 AM. Her burial will take place the same day at 12:30 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale.
